Featuring:
Sharon Meroni – “Does Your Vote Really Count , Ballot Integrity”
Tax Day Rally 2011
Sharon will join us to talk about elections in Illinois and to provide ideas to inspire voters in Michigan to
take on election integrity, precinct by precinct. She will also discuss electronic voting and electronic
voting machines. Electronic voting is widely suspected to be vulnerable to electronic tampering; Defend the Vote considers this to be one of their most important investigations.
Cameron Brown – “Price of Liberty”
Cameron Brown served two terms in the MI House of Representatives and two terms in the MI Senate representing the border communities from Cass to Lenawee County. In the 12 years he served, he had a 100% attendance record. In his last year as Senator, he was voted the most conservative member by Inside Michigan Politics.
Michael S. Hewitt, Author of “America’s Final Beginning” – Ottawa Tea Party
Mike has been a lifelong political activist. He founded and has twice served as Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Michigan and also as chairperson for his local Tea Party. He is a former Vice Chairman of the national Republican Liberty Caucus, was a state level candidate for elective office, a Congressional District Director for Michigan Fair Tax and a county coordinator for the successful ballot initiative (MCRI), which effectively ended so-called affirmative action in Michigan.
Fulton Sheen – “Economy, Taxes, Spending”
Fulton Sheen is a former Allegan County Treasurer, MI House of Representatives for District 88. Mr. Sheen introduced Resolution L and the MI Fair Tax Ballot Proposal to replace Michigan’s uncompetitive and complicated Gross Receipts Tax, Personal Property Tax and Michigan State Income Tax with a simple consumption tax.
